This senior social work position provides specialist mental health services within a regional Queensland setting, offering a mix of community-based and outreach work across surrounding rural areas. The role involves delivering high-level clinical assessment, case management, and therapy for adults experiencing complex or severe mental health challenges.

You’ll work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Indigenous Health Workers, and administrative staff, contributing to holistic, recovery-focused care. The position offers the opportunity to work autonomously while developing meaningful connections within the local community.

About You
You are an experienced and compassionate Social Worker with a strong background in adult mental health and a genuine commitment to person-centred, recovery-oriented care. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can work independently while collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary team.

You bring advanced skills in assessment, case management, and therapeutic interventions, and you’re confident supporting colleagues through supervision or clinical guidance. Your flexibility, resilience, and ability to build rapport across diverse communities make you well-suited to both regional and outreach-based roles.

You’ll ideally have:

• Qualified Social Worker with AASW membership or eligability
• Demonstrated experience in adult mental health case management, crisis intervention, and outreach service delivery
• A current C Class Driver’s Licence
• (Desirable) Experience working within rural, remote, or Indigenous communities
